Purpose of the website

Astreli Real Cost is an independently operated diamond sourcing service. This website is a catalogue and enquiry service. Submitting an enquiry does not create a purchase obligation or form a contract.

Supplier prices and exchange rates

Supplier source prices are recorded in USD and can change with supplier availability. Other displayed currencies are dated estimates based on currency-conversion data. Displayed supplier prices exclude Astreli service and inspection, delivery, taxes, duties and destination costs unless expressly stated.

Availability, identity and grading

Availability is confirmed before payment. The written proposal identifies the exact diamond and grading-report number. A grading report describes the diamond but does not remove the need for the agreed inspection. Another diamond will not be substituted without your written approval.

Written proposal and contract acceptance

Before payment, the written proposal identifies the contracting party and confirms the exact diamond, grading-report number, availability, inspection arrangements, complete price breakdown, payment method, insured delivery, expected schedule and applicable return terms.

A contract begins only when the identified contracting party and customer accept the written proposal through the stated acceptance process. If the proposal is not clear or acceptable, there is no obligation to proceed.

Payment and inspection

The accepted proposal states the payment method and timing. No payment is collected through this website. The exact diamond is checked against its grading report and the agreed inspection requirements before dispatch.

Delivery, insurance and risk

Delivery is tracked, insured for the full agreed purchase value and requires a signature. Astreli remains responsible for the diamond until it has been successfully delivered and signed for. The written proposal confirms the destination, charges and expected schedule.

Returns and refunds

Eligible loose diamonds may be returned within 14 calendar days after delivery. The diamond must remain unmounted, unworn and unaltered and be returned with its original grading report and packaging. Once received and verified, the refund is issued to the original payment method within five business days. There is no restocking fee for an eligible loose-diamond return.

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible only for the actual insured return-delivery cost disclosed before the return is arranged. Astreli covers that cost where the item is incorrect, damaged on arrival or materially different from the agreed specifications.

Custom or altered jewellery

Custom-made, mounted, engraved, resized or otherwise altered jewellery may have different return conditions where permitted by applicable law. Any such conditions must be stated clearly in writing before payment.

Website errors and supplier changes

Website information or availability may occasionally be incomplete, delayed or outdated. Astreli corrects confirmed errors and will not require a customer to proceed on the basis of incorrect information.

Mandatory rights and contact

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Questions may be sent through the enquiry page.
